Healing Red lentil Soup
I felt sick most of the day and nausea when I was finally able to eat. I threw together the best remedy for my feverish symptoms. This soup was basically a creative and artistic method of cooking.So I not going to be very specific here. This is literally a self made soup use the portions that you'd like according to your serving size. If you'd like measurements I could make those out just let me know. This soup is full of flavor but also full of spices and flavors that have healing soothing effects. May you be spontaneous and free and making this soup and make it yours, it's sure to be tasty!
Ingredients
red lentils (a little go along way)
crushed tomatoes
a whole onion
a couple of cloves of garlic crushed or diced
homemade chicken broth (or organic store bought no sodium or low sodium)
shredded chicken
seasonings
turmeric
black pepper
oregano
cayenne pepper
a dash of salt
red pepper flakes
brown sugar or honey or agave
parsley
onion powder
Throw everything in a big pot and simmer for about an hour or less.
